We're very fortunate to have some great walks close to home (ie we don't need to use the car) with many miles of Public and Permissive Footpaths skirting the fields. Trouble is, the water table is now so high (not good for humans, but perfect for Flatcoat Retrievers) most of the paths are submerged - most of those are at least 1' deep in water. Still, our resident clown has been making the most of it all...

Indeed - he can't help himself and if it's muddy, even better where he tends to roll around in it. He hates the bath though, clearly having a mistrust of water he can see through.
