Watched Hagazussa on Amazon Prime last night, a beautiful, deeply unsettling German folk-horror film with a wonderful soundtrack by MMMD. The film has little story and scant dialogue but the atmosphere it creates is almost suffocating. I'm not sure jump scare horror fans will enjoy it, this is a slow, methodical movie with long, lingering camera shots, but those who enjoyed Robert Eggers' The Witch will likely get something out of it. A fantastic and very unusual film that really gets under your skin and stays with you long after the credits have rolled.
