VPI TNT-5 HR (HOT TOD) Reference Turntable (VGC) £2,200 O.N.O
Comes with SDS unit and set up instructions. Please note the Cartridge not included
Please be aware this is an extremely heavy Turntable & it has a large footprint due to the size of the Plinth which encompasses the flywheel plus motor.
I do not know the exact dimensions of the footprint of the Turntable but I would allow at least 32" width by 22" depth.
This Turntable has pneumatic suspension by way of four inflatable bladders Housed in Four Towers and adjustable feet . Hand Bicycle Pump included.
If you wanted to upgrade the feet, VPI recommend the HW-40 feet (link below)

The tonearm is the JPW Memorial Uni Pivot 12.5 (12"). This is very light and needs good isolation.
Please note that there is no arm board on the TNT-5 (HR) so you can't use a different arm.
The finish on the chassis is piano gloss black which is in Very Good condition but does have very fine lines from dusting.
The black finish on one of the Towers has faded (See photo). Overall the turntable is in very good condition.
TURNTABLE OVERVIEW
The VPI TNT V-HR/JMW 12.5 combination represents another step forward in the continuing refinement of Harry Weisfeld’s TNT series. As with most of his updates, these changes probably wouldn’t have occurred to me, but they made perfect sense once I’d seen them. And, like most of the TNT’s evolutions, the V-HR changes resulted in slight but noticeable, and musically significant, improvements on the previous version.
I heartily recommend the TNT series and the JMW Memorial tonearm—and particularly this HR/12.5 combination—to anyone in the market for a turntable. It’s thoughtfully designed, beautifully built, simple and intuitive to set up and use—and, quite likely, one of the premier record-playing systems on the market today. The price is competitive within the cadre of topflight analogue rigs now available.

Collection only item too heavy to send through the post.
The previous owner replaced the motor and I have swapped the arm lift. It may benefit from a new set of belts which are only £39.99 (link below)
