I still miss my E92 M3 that spilled it's guts on the autobahn (it threw a conrod at around 140mph and made a hole in the block). It had primary cat delete with an Evolve X-Pipe, Eisenmann race exhaust, full Evolve tune, and Rays Racing wheels - loved it and created some wonderful memories with it.I had a Macau Blue E30 M3 Cecotto and foolishly sold it because the mrs didnt like lhd !. Not selling the e46. Ive put a few CSL bits on it but Ive kept all the original parts so it could go back to standard.
A wonderful engine (until it wasn't) and did everything well (we got my girlfriend's Audi estate delivered from Czech and emptied everything out of the boot and we could barely fit it all in the back of her car). Then again, hitting a rock and doing the DCT resulted in a £14K bill - fortunately the insurance covered it after arguments about writing it off).
I still think the E46 looks good - it's aged really well.
