I’ve been pleasantly surprised this week to find a couple of Long-tailed tits have taken up residence in my garden. They look quite young, as if they’ve been born locally. I’ve never seen them before in my garden in the 30+ years I’ve lived here. The great part is they keep feeding on insects on my collection of Acers, immediately outside my conservatory patio doors, so I get a good close up view of them, every day.A long-tailed tit which looks like it has some moss in its beak to take back to the nest.
