I've always loved the XJC since seeing John Steed drive one in the New Avengers. Gorgeous lines and so much prettier than the XJS as driven by the long suffering Mike Gambit.An e type would make a beautiful money pit.

You may be thinking of the Scimitar. The Interceptor was made by Jensen.
This reminds me of a tiny car I used to see on the streets of West Germany when I lived there in the 70’s. My mate and I said when we could afford one, we’d both buy one each. Sadly it never happened, as at the time, neither of us had a driving licence. I should have bought one anyway, as it was possibly small enough to fit in a large suitcase.I've always had a soft spot for the quirky Heinkel/Trojan bubblecars - had a couple of them in my student days:
