A couple of vinyl remasters from the original analogue tapes courtesy of the ubiquitous Kevin Gray just released on the Craft label. The heavily orchestrated, often sampled prog-jazz of David Axelrod's "Heavy Axe" and the incredibly funky "Purdie Good!" by one of my favourite drummers Bernard Purdie.

A trio of re-releases originally on the Prestige label incoming from Craft Recordings' Jazz Dispensary series remastered from the original analogue tapes by Kevin Gray (that man again - he must be coining it in!).

The Idris Muhammad and Leon Spencer LPs contain several excellent cover versions, ID's version of James Brown's "Superbad" being a particular favourite of mine.

Where do you pre-order these from in the UK?
