Hi all
My MF encore is producing no sound from the right channel , I have shut it down , swapped the loudspeaker cables over – left to right , and sound came from the right speaker but not the left, so I am certain that it is the amp not the speakers.
Looking through the grill at the top I can see the two amps and their fuses , it’s a bit difficult to see but it does look like the fuse on the right channel has blown.
Advice please
Thanks in silence – other than my radio

- Fuses can blow randomly but sometimes there is an underlying fault that caused it – any ideas ?
- Is it a user serviceable replacement?
- If not could it go to a local hifi shop for a fix rather than sending back to the main distributor – Henley , I have not used them for repairs but they have provided good support in the past , I have nothing against them , just the additional time and effort if I cannot “go local”.
- Any other bright ideas – I was pondering a JS audio fettle later this year – should I just bring that forward?
