Standard red book CD only, I'm afraid. Your CEC transport is not SACD-capable and, as has been mentioned above, unless equipped with an HDMI output it wouldn't output the DSD datastream anyway.
I think the majority of SACD discs are what is known as "hybrid", which means they have two layers to them. One is a standard layer that can be read by all CD players. So provided your friend's discs are hybrids then your CEC should have no problem with them, but you'll be listening to red book CD.
There are some dual-layer discs where both layers are used exclusively for SACD data, to give an extended play time. I should imagine that's more likely for long classical works (Wagner's ring cycle, anyone?) but I don't think there's as many of those. Certainly the few SACDs I have are all hybrid.
