I listened to the passive 360s, in the flesh, driven by 6 Solos, in one word, wow!
I have never heard the depth, the layering, instrument timbres, separations were that good, and I can clearly hear the singers' breath on some tracks, so incredible, so musical !!!
Thank you for your positive review.

I appreciate your review that is based on sound quality and not on the cost of the speakers 😊

I had the chance to hear the active 360s on the NGKDSM hub last week. Compared to the 350s, I like them better, especially in the midrange. They are also slightly less sharp in the highs. The depth of the stage pleases, but the width of the stage is not quite as great compared to my setup. Overall, all very nice, but I would have expected a bit more based on the advance praise.

I have not seen the 360's in person, but have read that they look much better in person. How could any wife say no to any speakers that allows them to place potted plants on the top of the speaker
You can’t cause the top of the speaker is not flat, rather leveled up from the front to the back of the speaker. It’s also very difficult to measure this speaker location for SO due to the curves etc.

Only if you want them to fall off due to the sloped top and vibrating speaker, not a good combination. One person I used to work with in the late 70s told me that he owned Dahlquist DQ10s in part because it meant his wife couldn't put anything on top!

If I had a pound for every time I've said to a family member "it's a speaker not a coffee table" I'd probably have enough for a 20cm length of Linn Silver cable :)
The children know around here and even help to prevent the cats from jumping on. But the big difficulty’s are birthdays with other relatives and neighbors with their coffee and chairs sliding against them..

Haha, if it hadn't been for cats I'd quite possibly still have my Heybrook HB1's :)

My Totem Forest's in high gloss have a front foot with which you can vary the upfiring listening angle ..
I still have a set of 'beaks' from my first pair of Forests.
I remember a 'visitor' once had the temerity to put his coffee cup on my rosenut Kabers!....

Wow! Miscellaneous items such as spectacles, phones, Christmas decorations, books, etc. are forgivable with a mild warning. Coffee cup - now that's a hanging offence! :)
