being a bit thick i thought i was doomed to the BFA plugs with a75 which feel a bit wobbly to me and only take 2mm cables . just realised they take spades as well so can try some nice 6mm van damme which i rather like with other amps .
I have two T32's, one here and one in my Kendal pad. They're absolutely fabulous FM/DAB tuners and I'm going to be in mourning if mine ever give up the ghost.I got the FMJ T21 for a great price. I was originally after a T32 but the prices are insane!
Had three. All broke and went back for repair. Repeating issue with rails and sound distortion. Common issue - Google it.Now that's a long thread. Haven't read it all but what's the general feelings on the FMJ A29. Would it be a worthwhile upgrade on the quad Vena or a mere sideways step.
I tend to agree ~ had an A18 for a while and we didn't really get on. Always felt like it was trying too hard. Not when it comes entry-level models. I'd take the DIVA A65 Plus over the FMJ A18 any day. And I have heard the A18.
Not heard tge A18, .I don't think. Demo'ed the A19, did not like it at all, sounded sterile and processed, not like earlier Arcams. I thought the Creek 50A was far better.I tend to agree ~ had an A18 for a while and we didn't really get on. Always felt like it was trying too hard.
I use an A85 as a power amp in my bedroom system - works well. The arcam a85 as a power amp with a pre amp has been superb . Listening to it now with a better pre amp . If i could i would get an a38 . Never had any trouble with the many arcam i have had
