I'll be interested to hear how you get on with it not really been that bothered before they are supposed to be real power savers & perfect results too.
I've got this one. Give the probe a go cooking chicken - it comes out absolutely spot on!
Am I being stupid here? Zero calorie foods, What?I make a lot of zero calorie foods in mine, especially chips.
Fried...in air!Am I being stupid here? Zero calorie foods, What?![]()
Yes, thanks, I understand what an air fryer does but it's the zero calorie bit that did me in! All food, even the disgusting celery contains calories. So why are we calling it zero calorie food? Is it a trendy buzz word or summat?Fried...in air!

I was sceptical but now use it as the main oven most of the time.

My wife likes our £50 air fryer, but I am the dishwasher. Never use the electric one. They work. Make good food. Less fat. Less washing up. It's a bit like a dishwasher. You never needed one until you had one. Now it's indispensable.
We use one of these, but I cut the sides down to maximise air flow. Coating is still fine after a year or more.Did have a look into them but do they actually svae any money?
Some review say the coating comes off within a few months.
Also cleaner is not that easy.
I only use the oven for puddings but doubt they would fit in an air frier.
I mostly cook on a gas hob.
