I currently use a pair of Grado 325s through a Creek OBH-21 SE with my Linn Majik DS. I love the sound but I’m also thinking about a pair of closed back phones, perhaps something from the Beyerdynamic range. I notice their ohm rating range from 32 to 250 ohms across a range of models, and wasn’t sure what might be best for my setup? Welcome any thoughts. Also not restricted to Beyerdynamic, open to any other ideas in price range £100 - £150. Thanks!

Opted for the Beyerdynamic DT 150s. Buying blind but they seem to get consistently good reviews for a solid, no-nonsense closed back phone with great sound and an even better price.

Methinks you'll be just fine. The Creek ought to work with any headphone from 32 - 250ohm. If the phones you have bought are at the lower end of that range e.g. 32 ohm's it is possible they will get loud very quickly, all that will mean is adjusting the volume will require a very gentle turn.

Cheers. The Beyerdynamics are 250 ohm. Looking forward to trying them.
