I'm working with a local chap here in Thailand to make a new design of cable elevator, and so far (within the first week!) they're proving popular. I've got them under my cables purely for the reason they look nice and keep the dust from collecting around cables lying on the floor. Some companies may say perspex or acrylic reduced HF vibration. Maybe, but that's not what I'm going to profess.
They come in sets of 4 with either round or square bases. Several different options for separating cables with these and they are sturdy - 10cm high, 5cm thick, 100g.
