Burmester is legendary for quality and this is a seriously top-end, reference standard MC preamplifier that sounds off the scale good and IMHO, performance like this normally costs considerably more! You rarely see an 838 being offered and I hope anyone reading this will already know just how superb this is as the 838 is a neutral and colourless dual-mono MC pre amp, which can be connected directly to any power amp, but also due to its unique design, will simply inter-connect with ANY other pre-amp so you can still use your existing pre for other input sources. The 838 enables vinyl reproduction at its very best and there are very few pre-amps to compare it to. One owner from new, in excellent condition, complete with Burmester twin output power supply and paperwork. This really is an exceptionally good pre and a total bargain.
