I played it right through , it was hard to distinquish when one track had finished and the next started , no doubt subsequent playings would reveal this and there are toons to be heard.

However I'm not 17 , I never was into any sort of metal (Metallica count ? ) so will not be playing it again, but I'll give it 2/5 The Wild *unt if I'm reading the poll correctly.

A mate of mine was in a band called "spinning death machine". He's now in a band called "Jonestown" which is named after the massacre.

His bands make a noise like this.. i cannot tell the difference between them in fact. they all get picked up after the gigs by their mums. bless.

I'll bet Aleister Crowley is looking down from heaven saying "Who the fuck are this bunch of pussies playing Satanist metal-by-numbers? It's about as scary as a 5 year old with a pointy hat on and green painted face on Halloween. If they wanted worrying and scary they should have listened to Brotzmann, or Foetus On Your Breath's "333", or DAF's "Gewalt", or Throbbing Gristle's "Hamburger Lady". They would have pleased the Dark Lord a lot more if they'd kicked out the GWAR looking fuckers and got the B Team (*) in instead."

And he'd be right, it's a bit dull...

The drummer makes a sound like a V12 engine with timing issues, running on 4 of it's cylinders with a few stray nuts and washers rattling around under the rocker covers.

I listened to the latest one this morning. Much more a classic style metal album to my ears, all be it with a lot of growling. A lot more polished for sure... The drummer , if it is the same guy, has become a monster  Jeesus, he must be fit!

Yeah, it's the same drummer, same core trio in fact. He didn't learn to play between the 2 albums ;-):P it's intentional.

If and its a big if, I was a 15 yr old male, with rampaging pubescent hormones, zits, greasy lank hair,

an unhealthy internet porn habit, no girlfriend in fact I'm scared to talk to girls, my parents/everyone gave up trying to understand me years ago, all my clothes are black

I own a pet rat called Beelzebub, I only ever eat pepperami pizza, I'm over weight, my rabbit is called Satan, I've a tattoo but my mum doesnt know....

this might appeal.

;-)

Nothin personal, its a braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave choice.

Very brave.

Not for me.

Yeah, like, all the people responding have really listened to this all the way through. I believe you... :D

A fun WAC, but the music is horrible. Maybe skipping though, I can hear a more promising and different guitar sound on track 5, but, like I said, they've taken the Black Sabbath heavy metal blueprint to such ludicrous extremes that is no longer rock'n'roll. They may be awfully serious Satanists but it's pantomime music. The Spotify Related Artists page shows that they are far from alone! All the same. Same music, same lyrics, same Satanic covers. Horrible.

Does it sound better played backwards :-)

I thought they put the rythm track on it so you could be sure you weren't playing it backwards.
