Well, as it's the time of year when we should be thinking of others less fortunate than ourselves, maybe this is the time to talk about the raffle - after all, we've raised quite a few pennies over the last few years and, I'm sure most on here would love that to continue. :^

Bob has done a marvelous job, he's worked bloody hard and contributed hugely in terms of his own time and resources - I take my hat off to him :notworthy:

Last time we spoke though (correct me if I'm wrong Bob), he said he wouldn't mind giving it a rest and letting someone else take over for 2015.

So it looks like we are seeking a volunteer to organise the raffle :^

I was actually thinking of the op John. He's single and fancy free, plus he could put a rack on his bike to collect gear :^

But if you didn't know him would you buy a ticket off someone with a face like his Jim? Not to mention the body odour and halitosis.

Robin did it last year Jim and a grand job he did too. Passing it round to willing volunteers is a good idea, one or two years of sorting it is enough for anyone:)

 I forgot and yes he did a great job, sorry Robin. I guess he has first call then.

Last year was a great result on the money raised :^, due to the prizes kindly donated by our dealers, Jack of B D audio deserves another mention for the truely great prize he donated.

Bobc worked much harder than i did as he was picking up and storeing prizes for weeks before, last years prizes were all delivered to the show, makeing it much easyer for me, and had plenty of helpers to sell the tickets on the door,

If any one wants to give it a go for 2015 please feel free to step foreward

I think it went to a local charity last year. Anybody remember, or have a suggestion?

If nobody else is going to organise it then I will, but someone else will have to organise the ticket selling and the money. As I will just thieve it.
