Really pleased to see such a good response and result.

Very well done Robin, everyone else that helped, contributed and bought tickets.

Thanks Karl for collecting the prize on my behalf-couldn't attend this year as I had to work in A&E. It sounds that it was a very successful and enjoyable weekend for all.

I only met and spoke with Roy/'Old Fogey' briefly but recall thinking what a nice guy he was-this has done him proud.

As some of you know, my father also died from a particularly aggressive cancer late last year and my mother has been having on and off treatment herself for some years now, fortunately with some remission fingers crossed.

So-Sue Ryder is a great cause, thanks again to everyone that brought a ticket.

Better luck next year Barney!

the prize winners

.....

revolver t/t went to voice of the mysterons

......

to all the people who thought 'lucky bugger' when I 'won' the Revolver TT, I had actually bought the tickets on behalf of Gareth (Voice of the Mysterons)

So, not only I drive all the way to Scalford, pony up the money for the tickets, not win anything with my own tickets, received a generous dose of The Skunk Eye when claiming the prize, to rub salt into the wound, I had to carry it 600yards to my car. My poor arms!

Still, Gareths a nice bloke, and the money has gone to a good place.
