I have actually collected old cameras since I was a teenager, and got more extravagant when I had a bit of spare money in my 50s.

I am not a box swapper at all when it comes to hifi, but with cameras I swap around so often I never learn what is in the various menus, or how to find it...

I am only going to list those in use...

My favourite cameras have been Leicas, since I could afford one. I just got a new one this week.

Leica M

12mm f5.6 Voigtlander

16-18-21 f4 tri elmar

21 f2.8 Elmarit

24 f2.8 Elmarit

28 f2 Summicron

28-35-50 tri Elmar

35 f1.4 Summilux Aspherical

50 f1.4 Summilux Asph

50 f1 Noctilux

75 f1.4 Summilux

75 f2.5 Voigtlander

90 f2 Apo Summicron asph

90 f4 macro Elmarit

Fuji X Pro-1

14-55 zoom

55-200 zoom

35 f1.4

60 f2.5 macro

Olympus OM-D E5

7-14 f4 zoom 4/3

20 f1.7 micro 4/3

45 f1.8 micro 4/3

75 f1.8 micro 4/3

50-200 zoom 4/3

150 f2 4/3

For serious stuff where weight can be tolerated

Nikon D3x

14-24 f2.8 zoom

28mm f2 Xeiss ZF

50 f1.4

85 f1.4

100mm f2 Zeiss macro

200 f4 macro

200-400 f4 zoom

600 f4

1.4x converter

I have always thought box swappers are more interested in hifi than music and the camera equivalent are more interested in cameras tham photography.

That is me I'm afraid.

Holy moly comoli

You still got this lot?

I'm an occasional box-swapper but not a box keeper.

You need to get yourself a Leica Q. It's the absolute business.

I'd love to know which lucky dealer sold you all those M-fit lenses.

Selling my M9 and M-fit lenses, probably regret it as an M Monochrom is on the wish list. May get one p/x instead of selling the kit.

A week is a long time in photography. Couldn't bear to sell M lenses, so sold two (non-Leica) and added a Leica.

Now a nice short list this fits nicely in my bag leaving lots of room for water, Kindle etc.

M Monochrom, Q, 21mm/f2.8 Zeiss, 50mm cron-M, 90mm Tele-Elmarit/f2.8

Frank has a whole lotta Leica. He hasn't mentioned the Leica collector's items on his shelf - original Leica MP, K-15 etc plus collector lenses such as the Thambar.

The Bell & Howell Foton looks interesting. I handled a Robot Royal in Vancouver. It was one of Tom Abrahamsson's veritable collection of cameras. Very nice, but much heavier than a Leica.
