Hmm. I don't have any Kings of Leon but I've heard them at a mates. Better get some Kings of Leon then... So, when I'm feeling more upbeat I feel I could do with some Lambchop on Billy....

Ray! That's £20 well spent I tells ya! You're a man with taste! I can tell....

:D:D:D but you'll thank us for it later ;) now you need a nice bottle of something to go with it :raoflmfao:

I'm sure I will be thanking you guys :dude:. I have heard a bit of Lambchop on Stuart Maconie, and liked what I heard.

BTW - Does any one here like Wilco? I've got 3 of their albums. They're good, but I wouldn't put them in the great category.

Wilco eh? I've heard of em but haven't heard em... :Not Sure:

As for Lambchop. Figure I had their best albums already (Nixon and Is A Woman).

First impressions: What Another Man Spills and Aw C'Mon/No You C'Mon aren't as good -in my opinion (though production values remain high).

I agree with Aw cmon..., but I like What another man spills the best, but they are all pretty good anyway, IMHO

Guest Umberto

Just got a loan of Nixon and Is a woman from Paul. Nice and mellow. Good for chillin.

Yeh AK. Aw C'Mon is a bit of a mixed bag. According to the online info, Kurt Wagner was writing a song a day for that album... and you can tell. The songs lack polish in many ways and hisvocals on some of the songs remind me of Vic Reeves' 'Shooting Stars' cabaret singer.

Been listening more to 'What a Man Spills' - which is the better out of my two recent purchases.
