Jezzer 24 Posted November 16, 2005 Bought 'Nixon' ages ago. Liked it alot. So bought 'Is A Woman'. Like that one too. Find the music and production is lush. Lyrics are incomprehensible though. Although, I like the line: "The last thought you think today has already happened." Have ordered a couple more of their albums from Amazon... Who else likes em? Jezzer 24 Posted November 16, 2005 Nashville. Home of country. Though that doesn't describe their sound. Alt-Country-Rock (with a bit of soul)? Kurt Wagner has a somewhat gruff voice. He's in his mid 30's but he sounds older. Very soothing listening to that man sing. Not sure about his falsetto in some parts of Nixon though... Erm. Both Nixon and Is a Woman are nice and chilled albums (Is a Woman especially). Very musical. Nice guitar and piano. Nixon has strings! "Up With People" was covered by Zero 7 when I saw them live a few years back. The crowd went wild for that one. Nothing like Lamb. At all. Actually, AK, What a Man Spills and AwC'Mon are the ones I ordered.

You gotta to be in the mood but when you are in the mood there isnt much else that hits the spot... question is barman, whats the perfect drink to go with Lambchop? I think its past the red wine and into your port and liquers... Hawk
