I'll be going again & I expect Pete will. Jack & Keith too I'd have thought. We stayed in the Ibis Munich North last time. Perfectly fine & reasonably priced. I think I'll go for two nights next year. It was too much getting up at 4, doing the show all day & then having a late night out. I was shattered by the evening. The show appears to be 9-12th May so I'd probably fly out on the afternoon of the 8th. It'd be worth your while getting the trade pass for the whole weekend & just use it as you need to. 2 days was enough really.

Super Mod

I've always fancied going, but never quite got myself organised... squeezyjet to Munich is very cheap if booked yonks in advance.

Tempted. I like Munich, I like beer, I like Hi Fi, I have a mate there who's overdue a visit. What's not to like?

However my calendar looks like someone took a shotgun to it, so it would probably be a last-minute excruciatingly expensive plane ticket rather than something way in advance.

How does the show impact hotels? Surely there can't be enough people attending to make it difficult to find a room?

£85 from Stanstead looks good.

Struggling to get my head around that concept :nup:

It's worth the trip just to see Jack and Guy eat!

Sounds tempting. May be up for this.

I'm currently pondering Oktoberfest 2013 too.

I fancy going. Don't need much of an excuse tbh. :)

Book now and you can fly BA from terminal 5 for £110.

Which would be dreadful when I can fly from Gatwick for £95.00 albeit on sleazy. That is a good deal mind. And T5 is nice.

The Ibis North it is then. I'm going to book my flights now, as it's dirt cheap.

Yeah, for you, you sweaty northerner. For a nice southerner like me, Gatwick is the way forward :-).
