Anyone like Patek Philippe ? I'd never heard of them, but found one in Vietnam for a good price. OK, so it possibly isn't genuine ...

Generally considered to be the best, unless you reach the heights of a George Daniels. Beautiful, expensive, but retaining their value very well over generations.

Thanks for the heads up Mr Cat (I still prefer the CW).  I still haven't received my watch as there was a problem with their last batch from Switzerland (which they had to return).  I've been informed that the next batch will arrive by the 16th of December...

I quite like the look of this:

The crème de la crème. Renowned for their complicated watches and record-breaking auction prices:

Both very nice.  I do like the various Stratons.  Very sporty!  Though, is the Steinhart a rip off of the (rather beautiful) Tudor Black Bay Bronze?

While I wait for the Titanium to arrive, I arranged with CW to try their Trident Vintage which arrived yesterday.  It's nice but I think I'll return it and wait a bit longer for the Titanium...

I think Nato straps look great on divers!

SO pleased all love their 'watches' - I advise cleanly suitably storing-them if emotionally-nostalgically worth so - look at the sun/your smartie (I use no moby anymore ...).

Use wall analogue wind-up clock/sundial outside in 4X4 street, or analogue FM radio (or at a pinch top great maintained PC).

TIME - only I ever arrived on ....
