I idon't hate them, I perhaps show a bit of sympathy to their fans though, terrible disease, but takes a lot more than that to wind me up

Not uptempo but both of these albums go low

Herbert- Bodily Functions

Portishead - Dummy

and if you like Drum & Bass then

Lemon D & Dillinja - Big Bad Bass - does what its says on the tin make no mistake.

where the grass is green and the rest of the band are after the pretty girls, it's a know fact that axle wears that scarf so he can wipe up the spillage after having one of his favourite biker gangs over for a dip.

Outside of the stuff recommended here already what about a 'pop' album. Came in from the localboozer last night to find my wife listening to Madonna's Ray of Light, something I hadn't heard in a while. There is some really nice rhythmic bass running through this album which goes quite low and overall it is very well produced indeed. Must check though as I was completely blitzed with a combination of half a bottle of Merlot together with several pints of Stella, oh and maybe a whisky or two :puke:

Maybe my senses weren't at their best ;)

Having played Led Zep 2 for the first time in years, I was very surprised by the loud fuzzy bass lines on some of the tracks. Sounds like JP Jones was really trying to get a "different" bass sound
