I managed to go to Silverstone today at the Porsche Experience centre and got some pics below of drivers driving their own cars:

That’s nice, Ben.  What are you doing with it?  I can see a bit of green there so, is that desaturation?  There’s a concentration of light in the centre; is that artificial light or just the way it naturally fell?

Thanks Tim.  Yes, rather than going to B&W I desaturated the whole pic until there was just a little colour left, mainly in the deeper part of the woods (in fact there wasn't that much colour to start with because it was quite dense which was what caught my eye when taking the photo).  I then selectively upped the highlights, mainly to emphasise the natural (sun)light in the middle of the frame , luckily it was catching the tree and it brought out that silvery effect on the bark. I was trying to mimic some shots I'd seen of silver birches highlighted at the front of dense forests, didn't quite turn out like those, but I like it nonetheless.

I processed it on the Lightroom mobile app, which I like a lot.

Super Wammer

It’ll be interesting to see whether Lightroom Mobile will work properly after I cancel the subscription. I like it a lot.
