Hi Uzzy,

Thanks for the link

As you might have guessed l’m thinking of the Ultracraft as a Unipivot version of the Mission. Bit worried it might be too low a mass now, but fingers crossed

If you think the arm is too low mass just add a headshell weight .. I should add that sometimes you can be surprises before the Mission I used an AT1100 arm (low mass with paddle damper) and the Decca performed brilliantly in it - but after years of hard work the arm was getting in a poor state so I changed to the Mission which performs about the same to my ears ..  Technically the Decca needed more mass than the AT1100.

I am no techy but perhaps the damping sorted out the arm resonances .. so I would suck it and see -   The reason I used the AT was I had heard the Decca in a Mayware Formula IV and loved it to bits - but the wife would not manage a unipivot so I tried the 1100 and it did the job for me (and the wife lol)

The Mayware was a cracking  little arm  for the money....you just had to keep an eye on  that eccentric counterweight , which could  rotate over time  to bugger up the azimuth adjustment.
