Boris and women

Recommended Posts

Question: does Boris's reshuffle, involving the sacking of senior women ministers and (apparently) the introduction of female talent to more junior posts show:

a) a desire to promote those he sees as 'the future'; or

b) a desire to keep women in their place and not let them get to the top jobs?

Either answer is just speculation. There are probably a number of factors at play that only those close to the cabinet could give an informed opinion on.

It could be either...

Boris's girlfriend Carrie Symonds should feel lucky she has not been replaced by Dominic Cummings. I'm sure Boris must be taking one up the rear passage from him. Not sure who is running the country at the moment. Very sad Sajid Javid resigned he was one of the better politicians.

‘Dominic Cummings’ sounds like the sort of name a tacky, 1970s porn actor would adopt.

And, of course, we all know what a ‘Johnson’ is.

Can only agree.

Sajid is my MP (Bromsgrove) and he has been excellent.

He did the honourable thing and was bullied out by Bojo and Cummings.

Respect to him.

Boris can do what he wants as he has a very large one.

. ( Majority, that is).   On a more serious note, Blair had no control over Brown when they were neighbours.  Brown wouldn't even tell Blair what was in forthcoming Budgets.
