Has anyone else tried Welsh Whisky?  Had a bottle earlier in the year, think it was called Pendragon?  Prefer my tipples a bit smoother, although I might be tempted after the Cardhu runs out.

Wasn't impressed with it.

I have tried Penderyn ' legend ' it was ok..seemed very nice initially..un aged so a little rough ( seems lots of whisky is un aged nowadays?  Guess it's cheaper to produce) I wouldn't buy Penderyn legend again.. Bunnahabhain stiuireadair which is also un aged I would heartily recommend..let it breathe, splash of water..very drinkable

That stiuireadair is so nice..I will definitely buy a bunnahabhain 12 year old.( funny thing is I liked the Penderyn legend initially then thought nope but I didn't think much of the stiuireadair initially then thought this whisky is great!)

The Penderyn was drunk nearly a year ago. Now on reflection think my thoughts on it were similar to yours.  Looks like it won't be sipped anytime soon.

Does the picture answer your question? 😂 Very easy drinking. Perhaps too easy drinking. I prefer when I don't finish a bottle this quick.

I got a Xmas gift of 50ml famous grouse, whisky stones! And a rocking whisky glass..first off, grouse isn't what it was! I remember it tasted like a poor man's malt..quite acceptable but this grouse tasted more like bourbon if anything!  Anyway my moan is the ' rocking glass ' its quite ridiculous.. Might appeal to young people?  But I'm a confirmed old fart...not convinced re these whisky stones either! Not sure about the hygiene?  rant over 🤣
