😄 Phew, that’s a result Jon, hopefully the seller who sent it is helping with the cost?

Indeed! There was one PCP on the bay as I didn’t think it could be done so I’m getting two thirds of the cost of the deck back

That’s good... at least you have the Roksan to fill the gap 😄

Setting up suspension isn’t easy on these however, it’s up and running in principle..

Lots of tinkering...

The arm board is purpose built for the Jelco but looks like the arm is set slightly further back from your one. It is the correct geometry but quite surprised how far forward the Denon cartridge sits in the headshell. I used the Linn set up disc which is extremely accurate and the stylus tracks the line bang on so it must be right.

... the problem is, I’ve got the Roksan playing in the background and it’s such a fine gramophone!

With regards the arm location, I’ll have to look at some of the old photos I have of my example and compare it with yours... and as for tinkering, this goes with the territory Jon, but you know that already 😂

When I had my example fettled by the much missed Derek Jenkins, he completely removed the rubber grommets from the suspension, so there is always something to mess about with and try 😄

Yes, had the pleasure of meeting Derek some years ago.. he was a lovely chap.

John Caswell wanted to do the entire work on the deck but I wouldn’t let him lol. He too is so knowledgeable and his man cave is something to behold. He makes an awesome cup of coffee too lol
