Mark Levinson 26S Circuit Diagrams

Recommended Posts

Firstly, apologies if this is not the appropriate forum to post this question in.

I have an intermittent issue with my Mark Levinson 26S pre-amp.

I am really struggling to get circuit diagrams or a service manual.

Does anyone know where I might get the circuit diagrams - happy to pay for them.

Many thanks

I may be wrong, but I believe US product law obliges a manufacturer to provide schematics on request. However, the 26 is now about 25 years old, so I'm not sure how that will pan out. It's obviously worth emailing them though.

What is the issue with it?

Thanks for the response.

I approached Mark Levinson/Harman a few years ago and they referred me to the official UK repair centre.

I contacted the UK repair centre but no joy in getting the circuit diagrams.

I will contact Mark Levinson/Harman in the US again.

The issue is with the left channel - it is an intermittent issue but is getting worse. It is a distortion noise on the output (i.e. impacts all inputs) - capacitor breaking down???

On the first point, a shout out please to any US posters here. A request from someone in the States might get a response direct from the manufacturer.

As for the fault, that'll be fun...
