Recommended Posts

I've seen a few pictures, and although I cannot yet have one, I do rather like it!

Yep seen a few ,  if you know where to look ...they are about

should be a good vehicle , more rugged based than the posh models ...also improved ride and on road handling over the old landiehandling

Stil! Costly for me ....but one never knows.

Well suited for the John Lewis car park and the local nail bar.

Yummy mummies should feel confident enough to load it up with baby, nanny, dog and Bugaboo and know it can handle a puddle or two (inside or out).

Won’t look amiss delivering Barnaby (or Hector) to Bedales after hols have ended.

The "defender" looks too much like a disco, and if its made anything like one will be bloody unreliable, needing frequent and very expensive repairs. Ive just seen a D3 in local garage, being taken apart with a saw cos the mechanic cant do it any other way. Engine out to replace exhaust parts !! Wouldnt touch it with a bargepole.

None of this matters to mummy parking in the middle of the road to drop off fatty and fatyetter cos all the mummies cars make it too "dangerous" for fattest to walk them to skule

+1 on a tonka toy for those who actually need them.

(Ive used Nissan Patrol and toyota landcruisers for offroad towing up to 5 ton, ploughed fields etc, the older angular patrol is the easiest to position when trying to manouvre a 23 foot trailer through a farm gate, but the big cruiser tows the best, cos its a lorry.)

My son works for a Jaguar Landrover sub-contractor and has been involved in developing parts for the new model which will be produced in Slovakia. Indeed he was directly involved in preparing the specific vehicle given to Hammond for the review. Its been interesting to follow its design and build with him.
