PMC OB1i Speakers -Natural Oak

For Sale.

PMC OB1i floor standing speakers.

Natural Oak finish. Fully real wood veneered, including the backs (a feature of the later improved "i" models).

Absolutely mint condition and in full working order. No marks, scratches, dents or chips in the cabinets.

The drivers are all clean, unmarked and undamaged.

They have lived in our lounge and have been carefully looked after.  We are a smoke, pet and child free home.

3 pairs of Gold plated speaker cable binding posts (one for each driver), complete with the original Gold plated linking bars.Tri-wiring is possible, if wanted.

Feet are attached and the optional spikes (+ Allen key) are included.

Original packaging and boxes.I bought these speakers a few years ago and they have had only light use.

This PMC model range was replaced by the Twenty Series. The equivalent replacement for the OB1i would fall midway between the following Twenty-24 and Twenty-26.

Reasons for selling.

They are too big for the room and my wife would rather they were replaced with a smaller pair of speakers. I tend to agree. She has been very tolerant so far.

The room layout means it's difficult to place the speakers in an optimal position for stereo listening.

Smaller floor standing, or stand mounted speakers would suit the room much better.I am seriously looking at "active" speakers, or a switch to high-end wireless active speakers and reducing both the "box count" and all the various interconnects and power cables.

Buyer collects only. Location between Southampton and Fareham, just off the M27.

These are very heavy speakers and I wouldn't want to trust them to a courier service.I might be prepared to deliver up to 50 miles or so from the Southampton, Portsmouth areas.

Message me for any further details.

£2,100   o.n.o.

Open to offers.

Here is a photo found online, showing the size comparison with the Twenty 26 (almost identical size).

Note: The Twenty 26 on the right (in Oak) has a sloping/leaning cabinet, so sticks out at the front bottom. It's a similar Oak finish to the OB1i's I have for sale.

Prefer the old ones but I wouldn't say no to either.
