Munich Hi End Hifi Show

Recommended Posts

Perhaps the Wam should organise some travel and board (bus load of Wammers sounds fun to me) so we can get across to drool at the stuff.  Looks like the show had plenty to enthrall,  check out the report from https://hifipig.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/MUNICH_HIGH_END_20192.pdf

Super Wammer

I'm very keen to go next year, being discussed elsewhere

Dover is 5-6 hours for me and then you have about 1000km to Munich. I went to a concert in Cologne by coach many years ago and that took bloody ages, and it's half the distance

Eurostar to Brussels then 2 hour train to Munich would be an option I guess

Depends on the Wammers , if chosen carefully it could work but this being The Wam there will be no choice at all .

looks like can be had for £140 return + baggage fees for MAN (for non-peak flights)

hi uzzy

excellent post / link - really enjoyed looking at this.

noted all the different styled speakers / systems all competing, no doubt, to produce the best sound which of course is entirely subjective !

Went last year and in 2016 , …. flew to munich , hotel 3 nights all in about 450 notes then ya spending money on top...……..the actual show is to die for , so much to see , you need a few days to see it all...also a great vibe to the event, nice to chat to the designers of the gear aswell, no airs and graces.

For the last few years I been saying to myself I must go (maybe one day I will make it?) but every year part of me is getting less and less enthusiastic about seeing ridiculously overpriced gear. Plus I don’t believe in magic.

I was going to reply that I am quite partial to pussies but then thought I had better not :bouncey:
