Hello there

First of just want to thank you all for all the help.

Well I got paid today, and on the way home from work just could not help myself, so ended up going to Harrow Audio and got myself a Rega Fono Mini A2D, just setting it up now.

Cheers Frank

You can’t really go wrong with that.  When I got mine, about seven years ago, the dealer said “you’d need to spend over £400 to beat it.”

@Nopiano Not had much time to play with it, only had time for one album which was Bob Marley's Legend. But first impressions are its louder than the pre amp in the Audio Technica LP120, and in bass department is just more detailed and tuneful. So pleased so far, will have to give it a couple of weeks to settle in.

Cheers Frank

That’s good news!  I take it that you can readily bypass the existing preamp?

Yep little switch at the back of the deck, whether it bypass it completely is another debate, and some are getting there soldering irons out.
