It’s What Hi-fi, so it’s probably all bollocks. Not even going to click it. I am surprised anyone goes there any more. Site deserves to fail.

I sort of agree.. HIFI is High Fidelity not TVs.. the magazine has shifted with the times.

I had a demo of that Mag-Lev in Audio-Philia and although the levitating platter was a bit weird and was slightly prone to a bit of wobble it did sound pretty good. Light show that goes with it is fab tho I suspect folk would tire of it. 

I can see that sort of thing developing though, somI wouldn’t dismiss it.

Some are a bit dodgy, but the Audio Technica Sound Burger and the Sony are fine turntables, even thought they look like toys.

As to the Nakamichi TX-1000, it’s quite simply the best turntable I have ever heard..
