Sugden with Living voice hi fi system.

I need to sell my system. It consists of Living Voice Avatar OBX-R2 with Sugdem Masterclass pre and power amps.

This system is more than 10 years old, can't remember when I got it. A scratch on top of one of the speakers, otherwise mint condition.

Cost wads of money when I got it, I will have to accept some loss but It has given a lot of pleasure over the years and I cannot imagine hearing anything better. I has been great but need to sell. Could anyone find £2.500 for this lot. What do you think?

Transport or post  is difficult, it being so big. I live Noffolk. NR133TN

We will have to work that out.

Adding a note that I forgot to mention.

The volume control is manual, it does not work with a remote control.

Speakers OBX-R2 with external crossovers. All cables included, XLR pre to power then some decent Ortofons to speakers.

I may be interested in the amp, but not the speakers.  And we'd have to find a way to get them to London! But that will be possible.

Can anyone find any info for me on the amps. What is class AA? How powerful are they? How much do they weigh etc.

To clarify about the pre-amp volume remote control.

The remote does not work it. I asked Sugden to replace the volume control. They say that they do not support this amp now. I think they called it a legacy product , pretty bad of them.

I control volume via my Oppo for Cds and FLACS on the computer. All my CDs are on the comp now, saves getting me of the couch to turn the volume control,

John

Could a kind Wammer offer to buy John’s rather tasty amps please, as I would like to buy his speakers separately?

Rather poor of Sugden that. I thought they, like Quad, supported all their old equipment.

Yes it is poor, but then Audio Research do not supply my remote for the cd5 anymore!
