Evidently the pies have been cancelled as it may upset the hotel ! Does this mean that we aren’t allowed to bring our own food...Hotel food tends to be a bit costly these days so I hope it will be ok for me to bring my own pie etc..Some of you may not be able to leave the room for supplies ....

no pies :(

profits to charity, isnt the hotel making enough from the show already :(

I'll be buying nothing off the hotel if this is true. Not even a cup of tea. Flask+sarnies.

I think this is mis-information. I hope so. Cant see anything about pies being cancelled on the pies thread.

It's true...Pieless it is. I've been refunded. Charities are missing out.

I think it's a very poor decision, and will therefore endeavour to be self sufficient in food.

Apart from the curry, that is.

I'll defend the hotel here, they are a business and I imagine it can be quite low margin with the likes of premier inn and the other big boys. If they book a big event and give a good rate (I assume) then find out the organisers are basically bringing their own food (as they would see it) they might not be too happy and not run the event next year.

Not that I've heard the hotel even knew about the pies...

And nice try Paul for all the hard work.

Super Wammer

I put a post up about 5 days ago asking about what food would be available at the hotel.

Silence so far.  It would be good to know what's going to be available, now we know what's not being allowed.

There's a decent chippy in the village.
