Taking the Linn Kabers Aktiv.....

Recommended Posts

Anybody has any info on how to do this? What card numbers are required?

I asked Linn for some help but they only directed me to contact my nearest Linn dealer.

So I had some free time today. Managed to replace the blown drivers in my keilidhs. Took of the kustone bases of the temporary Kabers that I got for a steal.

And then I was like wait! Instead of driving the keilidhs passive with the c3200 bi-wired let me try it with bi-amped with my C5100.

And then I was like...... wait before I try the keilidhs bi-amped let me try the Kabers Tori-amped with the c5100 handling the drivers and c3200 handling the tweeters.

It’s been about 4 hours now. The Kabers don’t have the kustone bases even on but I can’t get myself to disconnect them. There seems to be more bass now but not as controlled when I had the kustone bases on. But god dann does 100w biampwd aound better than 200w bi-wired. And the combination tri-amped is maybe an 8-10% increase over the bi-amped but that maybe that’s because one of my woofers needs some attention
