Wtd: Power Amplifier

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Looking for a replacement power amp as been told mine will be very difficult to fix.

Prefer a neutral sound, Class A or A/B would be nice.

A healthy input impedance would be required as I use a passive pre.

Budget up to £1000.

Please get in touch if you have anything that might suit.

Might also consider a good integrated.

Thanks,

Frank

Super Wammer

If your prepared to look at a good integrated, then I would say look no further than the Peachtree amp also for sale on here at £650, a terrific amp and well within budget.

These are a little over budget at 1275 pounds but they are an absolute bargain and the sort of amps that will last you a lifetime .

This is serious amplification for a bargain price.

Just to add , I have no connection with the sale or the seller.

I would suggest having a serious look at these. He built me a pair of monoblock amplifiers a couple of years ago. I use them daily as my goto amps

Take a close look at his photos and his immaculate construction methods using quality components.

Back in the early 90's, I used to own the AW250R, a really stunning amplifier. I'd certainly have another.
