Sorry, but what a bunch of clueless, brown noses on the Hoffman forum, once again they are laying into the expertise at Abbey Road studios as only their host/god can do anything right..........and they have not even heard this release yet. Here is just one comment:

Well we've got 2 of the finest mastering engineers (SH/KG) warning us that Half-speed mastering offers no sonic benefits (perhaps might even be a drawback). And a few people on the interwebs speculating that it might have benefits, including a mastering engineer pushing a product. I guess its up to us consumers to draw our own conclusions. Considering the fact I will buy any album I'm interested in that has been mastered by SH or KG, and I've never heard of the half speed master guy, you can probably guess what my conclusion is. This discussion also falls in a thread of which SH/KG mastered these perfectly for Analogue Productions in AAA in 2014 and can still be found. I have 4 of the AP releases, and they are unadulterated ear candy.
This is an interview with miles, the person Hoffman and his followers think does not know what he is doing:

This is a great album, but my favourite solo album is Centerfield. Check it out.

Ccr are a great band. I'm interested in this, thank you for posting.

I first bought their debut over 20 years ago, I was about 20.

Working man is one of my fave tunes. I still think their debut holds up really really good, despite the negativity on Wikipedia I seem to remember reading.
