Piss-taking of the form of using excessively large suitcases will lead to disqualification.

Single pair of shorts and one shirt ? That will do nicely .

I like the idea!

Is there a limit on the number of entries?

If there are 40 rooms with suitcase systems then there could be a problem attracting visitors

25 rooms already taken before this, and I've only 2 bits of kit that would fit in any suitcase :D

As noted above in answer to my enquiry you can bring a full system and still put together a suitcase one as well so I am sure that there will be lots of systems that people will want to see and hear along with these .

After givign it a bit of consideration I think while I love the idea discretion is the better part of valour for me so I will not be bringing a suitcase system and will instead concentrate on making sure my main system(s) are all working and sounding there best.

I suppose I am not allowed to partake, I think it is fun, more fun than a boring trade room even if I get one of those. Wasn't there one done at Scalford for the cheapest system possible I seem to remember. Anyway just checked, as long as you don't include speaker stands I can do one.

If you don't include speaker stands you'll have to make do without them.

I've always used furniture from the room or whatever I could find kicking about in the hotel.

No reason why you shouldn't partake, if you have a room. But as MIB said, the intent is that the whole system fits the suitcase. Improvisation using the room/hotel furniture as speaker supports is fine.

So can I put myself down for a members room, I thought I had to wait for a trade one to be offered.

That's a question for Peter.
