Ah Rutter, my eldest was in one of the very best (like top 3) junior school choirs in the country for 2 years so she has sung lots! She ended up as a loud contralto soprano with a distinction at grade 8, very loud for a skinny thing. Added to Roon for when she’s next down, thanks.

BTW which track were you referring to?

Was there any mention of pricing for the new electronics?

Last I heard the amp was going to be around the 20k mark. It's been in development (and has changed quite a bit) for a long time.

No idea on the DAC, although I doubt that'll be a 'budget' component either.

You are, do doubt, correct.

Will have to put it on the lottery win wishlist.

Which would be fine if I actually did lottery!

You can get some decent amps for £5k and some very decent amps for £10k, allegedly. Ditto DACs. If those prices are correct, they will have to be very very special (ok, let's make that very10 special) if the anticipated initial manufacturer hype and consumer enthusiasm is going to turn into sustained sales. Sven has a fabulous eye for design and that alone must be worth a 50% premium in this market (we all claim it's about the sound of course!), but he'll need some serious sonics at those levels. I wish him luck - and those of you with sufficiently deep pockets much happiness! Looking forward to hearing them at a future Kegworth :whistle:

Cheeky bugger I have always had two left feet and was never ever any good at footbal but the wonderful Mr Shankly made me a Liverpool fan for life and my whole life cycle (wedding , holidays , childrens birth , attending funerals) have always revolved around the football season .

Folks, to conclude my recent ex-dropin-Boenicke-owner story...

Courtesy of @Elite Audio, who have been exemplary throughout, an "unwind" deal with which I'm delighted has been sorted. My Kendal pad will soon be the recipient of an Audia Flight FLS10 integrated amplifier and I have a pair of (passive) SCM40's on order. The FLS10 arrives on Wednesday and Rick @Musicraft will confirm ETA for the ATC's shortly.

It's been an interesting "learning experience" where I broke most of my own rules. I still think the Boenickes are something rather special, admire Sven for his passion and design flair, and wish all Boenicke owners many hours of joy unbounded... they simply weren't for me, end of.

Here's to music. :ale::pint:
