Quite agree. It's sort of aimed at Clarkson-esque individuals who wear red crocodile skin boots with their tailored suit.

Aston's look nice from outside, but the style is getting common:

Also, performance isn't top tier.

Over time, I've gotten to enjoy AWD and wouldn't be without it. It trumps people at the lights, it makes the car handle better (safer) and more predictably at speed. Changing throttle/braking in a corner (which you shouldn't really do) does not unseat the vehicle compared to a FWD/RWD.

With all that said, I also need a car that is practical, spacious, seats 4, can carry a lot of luggage and is as luxurious as my current car (not disclosing, but it's German). If I then consider environmental factors, quiet cabin, modern tech, then there is only one car left that does all this with AWD and an extremely low center of gravity contributing to awesome handling for a large executive car. It's not a million miles away from an Aston in looks, but it sure beats one on performance:

Your P100D might be fast, but it looks bland in my humble opinion :shf:. If I was going for speed over style, I'd rather have a VW Campervan .

A little bland agreed, almost looks like a Mondeo towards the rear end, however, a technological marvel no doubt. Interiors and cabin look nice.

Off topic I know - I once had a girlfriend who could be described as bland looking, it was just every ride I took in her, I left with a big smile on my face. Bland looking, does not always equate to unexciting imo... :minikev:

Too kind.

Genuinely, I'm not sure 'she' had too much dignity - she went out with me after all.... :nup:

Yes, but: Bland = Sleeper

Campervan reminds me....

I went to Millets and said 'I want to buy a tent.' He said 'To camp?',
I said (butchly) 'Sorry, I want to buy a tent.
' I said 'I also want to buy a caravan.'
He said 'Camper?
' I said (campily) 'Make your mind up.'

The Aston is lovely but of course it's not the ultimate car. As anyone knows, this award goes to the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic.

You wouldn't by any chance own a Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic.¬¬

I wish. My piggy bank is about £139,978 short of the £140,000 necessary, sadly.

You could buy some 4 x 2 timber for your £22. Put some pram wheels on it, and job done. It was good enough for Oor Wullie.

It would probably be just as stylish as the Range Rover SVAutobiography AeroDynamic-as-a-brick.
