one of my favourite pieces of music

. I was introduced to it by that old film with jon Voight runaway train . so atmospheric. at least I think it was the gloria

Glorious music.  I have a soft spot for it as I performed it at university - as one of the bases.  In fact this was the piece that opened up Vivaldi's choral works to me.  He is known for his concertos but there are many fine choral works.  Also many decent versions of this - one or two have tempi that are too fast.  I like the version in Runaway Train though.

 Well done all who appreciate this recording ... I admit that I am sonically-emotionally biassed/have stuck my rippings of my CDs-Vinyl all over our digital devices - not just for All-religions Mass ...
