Doc 3 Super Wammer Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) Hi I'm looking for a high quality Streamer that also has WiFi and Bluetooth. Location prevents running a network cable to it so unless it is Bluetooth capable I wont be interested. Flexible budget but ideally less than £1000 What is out there or what have you got that you would part with? Bluetooth not really synonymous with perceived high quality. But ticking both boxes at cheaper end - the humble iPad. can stream flacs over wifi and via Bluetooth (airplay). Qubuz and Tidal directly from cloud. Or with LMS on a PC and Squeezepad on the iOS, you can stream your ripped tunes (plus the above apps etc) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
westlower44 4 Posted November 24, 2016 I have a Bluesound Node 2 which is a fantastic sounding bit of kit. Very Simple and possibly one of the best HiFi Purchases I have made. Retail for around £500, have an internal Dac (which is very decent), but you can bypass and go to an external Dac too if you wish.. The Control app is great looking and easy to organise Tidal/ Spotify / Quobuz etc. and link an external NAS device to. Incidentally I may be moving mine on soon!!, had it a bout 10 months but the ultra posh USB / Spdif converter I have bought only takes USB in and the Bluesond Node2 dosent support USB out, only in..
