Hi Hifi nutters i sold a SS-9500 for £750 on Ebay this year , these are my last pair , they are ES , Extremely high Standard beauties.solid built , 6  Diatone ! Drivers , just lovely jewels to own . The sound follow you where ever you go !. My beautiful Judy S. A Jewish queen Judge ,just earns $4'000.000,00 four millon dollars a  month , real cases ,not a funny show like the uk crap ones .I displayed them a year ago at Kegworth show. The design is late 60-70 pure Modernist this is to say modern forever .These will go along with any Danish Modern items but ugly Ercol or G-Plan ? .

Next year 2020  im displaying my APM -77 never  seen in the UK before ! You are welcome to see and listen to them ,like  Judge Judy:  real cases ,real professional sound , the show is final !!.

Super Wammer

I heard these in Max room at Kegworth and they sounded amazing . I had never seen these before then and as expected I was fairly sceptical as to how they would sound. When the music came though I was gob smacked at how good they sounded and they were not even critically placed in the room . Would love to own a pair just to have the chance of placing them correctly and getting to know just how good they could sound , Thanks Max .

Yes but...

one can still change the color of the top cushion to suit one's interior -indian interior - to welcome enveloping varnams, ragams,  and thaalams.”

They do seem to make a good stand for an anglepoise light ;-)

One can even sit on them to practice... sitar.

I suspect the “sweet-spot”, may be a bit off if you’re sitting on one of them. Though if I’m practicing my sitar, I doubt I’d be bothered.

Interesting, but six, 4-inch drivers should tell you all you need to know. They certainly aren't going to do anything approximating to bass and even Sony's own figures show 50Hz as the lowest (and I would imagine with a fair bit of roll off on the way there).

I like some apsects of the omni idea, but it'll always play hell with room responses and you'll never get a real 'image'. Great for filling a room with sounds, but bad for serious, long-term listening I suspect.

You better take out the laundry from it first.
