Is that the one with the ear-piercing vocals :zip:

No, she was the one with the voice like a angel.:)

I think you'll be in a minority with me on that!

Great record. Great singer.

It wouldn't be right for us to all like the same thing. I can clearly see she appeals to some, but I find that warbling vibrato extremely irritating. The rest of it I find ok.

There was another (non screechy) female vocalist someone played that I liked a lot.

What was it - the names of a male and female....Anton something?

Thanks to Nick for a lovely chilled day and to Chris (hearingisbelieving) for providing a jolly nice taxi service. :) Nick's primary system was sounding very nice indeed with vinyl and digital; Lovely smooth, relaxing sound.

Sorry for the late post Nick. Thanks so much for hosting an excellent bakeoff. Both of you systems are very good and Im keen to hear what you think of the Gamuts when they arrive.

Great to meet some new wammers, catchup with old friends and hear some new tunes and kit. Thanks to those that bought all the yummy snacks - the cupcakes and brownies were particularly good and Nick's chilli was none too shabby!

Thanks to Ian for the company on the drive over and thanks to Rick for transporting the rack and speaker stands to Tim and Kate.

They sound great Chris and a real shame they didn't get here in time for the weekend. I'll post some pics in the bits n bobs section later.
