Loftin White hifi amp 350mm x 290mm (240mm tall) Stainless steel body Wooden legs (black) 1 stereo RCA Output 8 ohms? Disclaimer: I don't have the specifications for this amp. It is based on the Loftin White schematic and the valves are: 6SF5GT x2 2A3B x2 5Z4GT It has been used regularly but not constantly for a few years. It sounds great and works as it did when it was new, though it has some marks and scratches. The 574GT has burn marks above the filaments. I am based in Hove, East Sussex. Asking price is £800
Hi all, I have a dilemma, I own two pairs of second audio amplifiers. They are valved with KR octal 2a3's which I know are quite superb and currently in very fine fettle ... so, to future proof I have been considering having one pair converted to run the more common 4 pin variants thus allowing storage and future use of the eight KR's however I have become aware of the slight possibility that KR might be persuaded to resurrect their octal version thus avoiding invasive surgery. I am wondering about opinion to which would end up the better amplifier and even if I was to sell on one pair, which would be the most desirable? a pair runnng original Octals with a full spare set or a pair converted to 4 pin. Any thoughts? especially Guy if you are listening ..... oh and might I trouble you for some schematics of several AI models? Thanks in advance guys. Mike
