    Good headphones for classical music

OPPO PM1. I bought a pair to replace some Sennheiser 650's. Expensive but worth every penny.

Best place to buy Schuko and IEC plugs

Try SUPRA LoRad 2.5, absolutely great cable, just seen some on the bay for £12.95 per mtr from Divine Audio. TM3 good source for plugs.

Have you tried a Achromat or Foamex instead of stock Gyro mat?

    Phono Stage for Dynavector 10x5

I have used a Dino2 with Dino+ power supply for the last four years. Excellent choice.
  8. Bet you use your Gyrodeck or 301 far more often.
  9. You wouldn't have posted that if you had heard one!

    Turntable quandry

My vote goes to the Technics, yes I know I'm biased as I have just purchased one. The SL 1200/1210 series have no moving parts to wear out as the platter is part of the motor and it has no bearings because the motor is on a magnet. Parts are ten a penny as these TT's were sold in there millions all over the world. throw the arm away or sell it on flea bay. There is a huge choice out there. I chose Origin Live. Who also supplied the arm board suitable for the Technics. DIRECT DRIVE RULES
  11. I think you are very lucky. My new Technics SL1210M5G doesn't come with a remote at all. I am forced to stand up and walk over to the thing and change the bloody record myself.

    Cyrus Signature series

Me I love my CYRUS, the wife on the other hand doesn't, but she doesn't like any HiFi and keeps asking me to turn the stereo down as her damn orchids don't like it!
