  1. I'm selling these stands as I have upgraded to some second hand HRS racks and bases. Details are: TOWNSHEND AUDIO - Size 2 Seismic Stand (19.5" wide and 35cm deep) with 4 Shelves (new, 2016) : £1,000 TOWNSHEND AUDIO - Size 2 Seismic Stand (19.5" wide and 35cm deep) with 5 Shelves plus Tools (ex-dem, 2014) : £1,000 (some scratches on the supports from changing shelf positions) Both stands are the same height at 85cm and have clear shelves. http://www.townshendaudio.com/hi-fi-home-cinema-equipment-vibration-isolation/hi-fi-home-cinema-vibration-isolation-equipment-stand-rack/ Collection from central London only. If you can give me a lift back then I'm happy to help you to move equipment from one stand to another.
  2. TOWNSHEND AUDIO - Size 2 Seismic Podiums (for speakers up to 37cm x 27.5cm and weighing between 12kg and 28kg) (UNUSED, 2016) : £1,250
  3. I'm selling my Seismic Podiums but think you need a Size 3 with Green springs which mine are not.
  4. I'm selling my Townshend Audio Seismic Podiums. These are Size 2, for speakers up to 37cm x 27.5cm, and have yellow springs, for speakers weighing between 12kg and 28kg. These are practically unused. To cut a long story short, I ordered these when I had my PMC Fact 12s, but by the time they turned up I had traded the PMCs in for some ex-dem Tidal Pianos. I thought I could use them with the Tidals but after a quick try with one speaker it was apparent that the springs would need beefing up. I tried some Stillpoints and they worked well and matched my new speakers meaning the podiums became surplus to requirements. I am looking for £1,250. Collection from central London or postage at cost - this will be relatively dear as I need to send each podium separately. Any questions give me a shout.
  5. Bump. Now looking at £750 for the 310LP on its own.

  7. Hi, I'm selling my TeddyXPS. This is the Teddy Pardo equivalent of the Naim XPS - an external PSU. I've used this with my CDX2 and NDX. It made a dramatic impact to the sound of the CDX2 - greater clarity and wider dynamic range, the bass that had been missing no longer was. Similar impact on the NDX but to a smaller extent. I'd say a must have for the CDX2 and something to get a little bit more from the NDX. I bought this in 2010 and it was serviced by Teddy Pardo in January 2016. I bumped into Teddy at a hi-fi show in 2015 and mentioned that my TeddyXPS was making a buzzing sound. He worked out that my TeddyXPS had a transformer from a batch that failed after six months. He replaced the transformer with the current version and also replaced the front panel and feet. I'm looking for £700. This is less than 60% of the current price on Teddy's website once you allow for VAT on import and shipping. The TeddyXPS also comes with a Burndy cable to connect the XPS to your Naim CD or Network Player. It's in perfect condition but the box has some oil on it which I'm guessing happened shipping to me. I've therefore wrapped the TeddyXPS in a plastic bag and also protected the cable and manual. I'll post it in another box so it will look clean to the courier and won't get opened up for any reason.
  8. Bump plus I've finally got round to taking some photos.
  9. To be honest, I don't know! I bought both at the same time and have always used the 310LP with the 320S. All the reviews and the dealer said it's a must. To swap between the 310LP on it's own or with the 320 you have to open up the 310LP and move some links around. I didn't think it was worth the hassle.
  10. 310LP STILL FOR SALE. 320S PSU SOLD I have a Simaudio Moon 310LP Phono Stage together with the 320S External Power Supply upgrade for sale at £1,650. They cost £1,500 and £1,200 new respectively. The 310LP is compatible with both MM and MC cartridges and has internal DIP switches for various cartridge loadings. I purchased both units ex-dem just over two years ago to partner the second hand SME Model 10 I had just bought. I upgraded to a new SME 20/3 recently and went all in by upgrading my phono stage to an Allnic at the same time. The Moon has great reviews and came top in the Hi-Fi News November 2012 £1,300 to £2,000 phono stage group test (the 310LP on its own without the 320S). I have all the original boxes, manuals etc. I'm also selling the SME Model 10A with Ortofon Cadenza Blue cartridge plus the Acatama Helix Bamboo half-width stand which has three shelves perfect for the SME motor power supply, the 310LP and 320S. PM me for details if these aren't already up on the classifieds. All the best Raja eBay feedback: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rajabr
  11. One pair of Townshend Audio 1.5m F1 Fractal Analogue RCA Interconnects for sale at £650. These are £1,101 new and around nine months old. These cables are Townshend's top-of-the-line analogue interconnects. They are incredibly transparent cables. I'm selling these because I've upgraded to Gutwire's TOTL interconnects after a listening session at a dealer. I have the original box, instructions and the rather nice metal tin they came in. You can view my eBay feedback here : http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rajabr All the best Raja
  12. I have two sets of Kimber Kable KS9033 jumpers for sale. One set is banana to spade and the other spade to banana (the cable is directional). The spades are 8mm WBT-0681 Cu spades and the bananas are WBT-0610 Cu. I can swap them round or supply the WBT torx key if you buy both sets. Used on my tri-wireable PMC Fact 12s. These were a very noticeable upgrade to the QED Genesis Silver Spiral Biwire jumpers which were in themselves clearly a step up on the silver jumpers that came with the speakers. A clearer, more coherent and tighter sound. My new speakers are single-wireable only so I am moving these on. The jumpers are around 9 months old and cost me £365 per set. I bought this in a sale from Russ Andrews. The new price was £609 per set and were on sale because Kimber Kable have replaced them with a newer model. For sale at £299 per set or £550 for both. My eBay feedback can be found here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rajabr All the best Raja
  13. Chord Company 1m BNC to BNC Signature Digital Tuned ARAY interconnect for sale for £275. Original box etc. Excellent condition. Was £450 new. I used this cable to connect my Naim NDX streamer to my Chord DAVE DAC. Replaced the NDX with a Melco music server so I'm using an USB cable now. I can supply one or two BNC to RCA adapters for free. These are standard quality ones. Audioquest gold plated ones cost around £6 each I believe. My eBay feedback can be found here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rajabr Best wishes Raja
  14. I've upgraded my mains conditioner so I am selling my old one. The one for sale is a Silver ISOL-8 SubStation Integra. It cost me £1,999 new and I'm selling it for £1,250 with an ISOL-8 1.5m 20A PowerCON cable which costs £100 new. It's in excellent condition and I have the original boxes and manual. There are full details on the ISOL-8 website but the main features are that it has four sockets for equipment with low/medium power requirements and two high current sockets for power and integrated amplifiers. PM if you have any questions. Here is a link to my eBay account so you can check my feedback http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rajabr All the best Raja
  15. I've upgraded my mains conditioner to one with Schuko sockets so I'm selling my UK mains cables (and old conditioner in a separate post). All cables have been purchased new from Clearer Audio and are fitted with the Furutech FI-UK Mains Plug. The cables are fitted with either 13A or 5A high-quality Bussmann fuses. I can switch the fuse between 5A and 13A if required as I have spares supplied by Clearer Audio. 13A will be fine and provide the best sound quality for equipment with a built-in fuse. Check the manual or have a look near the IEC socket as this is where the built-in fuse normally is. If in doubt use the same fuse rating as the supplied mains cable. I have eight Clearer Audio cables in total for sale. These are: 4 x 1m Silver-line Power Cable with Wattgate 320i IEC termination 13A- £125 each (£215 new each) 1 x 1m Silver-line Power Cable with Furutech FI-11 Cu IEC 13A - £130 (£225 new) 1 x 0.35m Silver-line Optimus Power Cable with Furutech FI-11 Cu IEC 13A- £150 (£554 new but I paid £220 in a clearance sale) If used on a rack above a mains conditioner, the distance between the middle of the UK socket and IEC socket should be 25cm or less vertically. 2 x 1.5m Silver-line Power Cable with Furutech FI-15 Plus Gold IEC 5A - £180 each (£309 new each) All cables are in excellent condition. The cables came in bubble-wrap and without a box / instructions. I think I only have the bubble-wrap bags for the last three cables. I am rajabr on eBay. You can check my feedback here http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/rajabr Please PM if you have any questions. Best wishes Raja
  16. I have a 1m van den Hul Optocoupler MkII Toslink to Toslink. I believe it's a glass one - http://www.vandenhul.com/products/cables/the-optocoupler-mk-ii-halogen-free & http://www.futureshop.co.uk/van-den-hul-optocoupler-mkii-toslink-optical-cable-1m-p-1074.html#.WCN2-Nyfxpk
  17. Ha ha. The dealer who recommended it to me personally has a set-up very similar to mine, listens to a lot of different phono stages as part of his job and suggested the Avid Pulsus was the best stage for me. It wouldn't be a gamble because he's heard the whole caboodle together. Choosing a different one, including more expensive ones from him, would be a gamble. As someone said earlier, the best way to choose a phono stage is to try a selection in your own home. Unfortunately I haven't got the time or patience for this so a "dead cert" as my first phono stage is a good idea. As I gain more experience, go to more hi-fi shows etc I'm sure I'll change things.
  18. Took me a whole to understand what you were saying because of my inexperience / ignorance. Your set-up sounds very interesting. Maybe not for me today as it involves selling a lot of what I already have but in the future who knows. I didn't realise there are so many options!
  19. The Avid Pulsus has been recommended to me by another dealer. It's in my budget and has got rave reviews in the press (well those published on the Avid website) but is conspicuous by its absence on this forum. Is there a reason for this?
  20. Well I got the turntable, arm and cartridge for £2,750 and so was thinking around £1,000 - £1,500 for a phono stage. Not sure if these are reasonable expectations and so I didn't mention price in the OP - just wanted to see what would be the best match regardless of cost. I'm also happy to double my value by going second hand.
  21. Interesting. Do Art Audio still exist? Can't find anything on the internet.
